Kel is such a lovely (and tall) human being. She's one of the friendliest people I know. She's also super experienced with parkour and other movement-related things. Although in the moment you might ask yourself "Why?" when you're doing the strength and conditioning exercises Kel sets, at the end of it all it really does make you stronger and better.

balance and precision:

fancy footwork

With even very low-impact techniques offering very high rewards, a healthy balance and precision practice can offer a lifetime of challenge and progress. In this session we will explore touch and control through mindful challenges using simple structures, practicing tactics to build more robust and intelligent lower bodies while developing and pushing the boundaries of our footwork.

FLOW AND TRANSItioNS

Flow. It's a concept that transcends disciplines, a spectacle that cannot be mistaken in any form. But how, you might ask, do we achieve this mythical and powerful sensation? What if I told you that to achieve flow you have to practice looking and moving into the future? In this session we will investigate the nature of flow states in movement, including how to cultivate transition fluency, choosing viable transitions based on intent, and how to achieve flow states using practices of self-awareness and future sight.

We are so excited to have Brandee Laird visiting Melbourne! Don't miss out!

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we move. Sovereignty was never ceded.
